Kili Technology allows to work at pixel level to classify every single pixel of an image. The segmentation task is a continuous form : after selecting one category, start by a click, and, while holding the left mouse button, draw the shape of the object. To complete the shape, just join the shape to the first point you drew.
At any point, you can stop and use a polygon-like pen, to follow perfectly human-made objects. You will also have a projection line, to help in the pixel-perfect annotation.
If necessary, you can substract a part of the form by clicking on the "x" icon in the toolbar.
It is also always possible to change the class of an annotation with a right click, selecting "Change class", and then selecting the new class of the object. If the task is multi-classification, this operation will allow you to select all the categories for this annotation : you can delete the previous class but also just add one or more others.
To set it up, just follow the steps below :
The first step is to go to the 'Settings' of your Image or Frame project
Click on 'Add a new Job', choose the following options:
- Click on 'Confirm'.
- Add the categories that you need, then click 'Save'.
- You are all set to use it in the application: go on an asset, and select a category.
- The interactive segmentation icon should be enabled. Click it to activate it, then click on four extreme points of your object like below. The order does not matter.
Segmentation can be nested (see nested classification)) with all classification tasks, to build refined image segmentation.
