Polygon

Kili Technology allows to quickly position polygons. To do so, select the object you want to annotate, and click to place a vertex. You can easily cancel the annotation or undo the last vertex positioning. To finish the task, just close the polygon by clicking on the first point positioned. The form will consists of the inside of the polygon you built. If you don't want to deal with closed forms, see polylines.

It is also always possible to change the class of an annotation with a right click, selecting "Change class", and then selecting the new class of the object. If the task is multi-classification, this operation will allow you to select all the categories for this annotation : you can delete the previous class but also just add one or more others.

Polygon can be nested (see nested classification)) with all classification tasks, to build refined object classification.

  • Simple choice. See classification section.

  • Multiple choice. See classification section

  • Single choice dropdown. See classification section

  • Multiple choice dropdown. See classification section

Editing

You can edit a polygon by clicking on it.

Once in edit mode the vertices of the polygon appear and you can:

  • Add vertices by clicking on transparent vertices and dragging them to a position
  • Move vertices by dragging them
  • Remove vertices by clicking on them

Shortcuts

Shortcuts are provided to help you annotate quickly :

  • A shortcut will be generated for each object category to detect : see shortcuts section.
  • You also have zoom shortcuts available.
  • You can also edit faster with this shortcut to correct the last segments drawn for the current object, or to escape the editing interface.
